Instructions for returning your rentals
Rental extensions.
If you would like to extend your rental for another month, please contact us with your request, at least one week prior to your rental due date. A one-month extension fee is 15% of the current rental price.
You, the customer, are responsible for sending the rentals back to us by the rental due date or before. Please return all products that are due at the same time in one shipment. Return shipping will be reimbursed to you after we receive the rentals.

1. Packing your returns. We would greatly appreciate it if you would take some extra care in packing the books you return. Please remember that the postal service is NOT careful with the boxes. They are thrown, tossed, dropped, etc. When you chose a box to return them, it is best to find a box that does not have lots of extra space after the books have been added. If there is extra space in the box, please add, newspaper, bubble wrap, grocery bags, etc to take up the extra space. we are not picky! Go heavy on the packing tape. Tape the top, bottom, corners, even around the sides. The corners are what burst open when they are thrown or dropped.
You may pick up a priority mail boxes at the post office The boxes are free but the shipping cost is much more! If you choose to return your books priority mail, remember, we only reimburse for the media mail, plus tracking costs.
2. Go to your closest Post Office and return the books. You may choose to send the products by media mail and please include tracking. We only reimburse for the media mail, plus tracking costs.

3. Go to USPS.COM. Click on "ship a package" then "print shipping label" click the "print shipping label now button". Register for an account or log in to your account. Follow directions to mail a package.
Please pay for tracking. You can get tracking on any of the USPS mailing options.
4. If you choose to send using another form of shipping, other than the post office, to return your books, it will need to be sent with tracking information. You will be only be reimbursed the USPS rate.
5. We would greatly appreciate an email to contact@YellowHouseBookRental.com giving us the tracking information and letting us know that the rentals are on their way to us. But this is not necessary
6. When we receive the books, we will refund your shipping cost, via check in the mail, PayPal (if you have an account) or a Yellow House Book Rental discount code. (See below for complete refund information) The choice is yours. The refund will be the media mail (unless we specifically asked for priority mail return). Please include your preference for reimbursement with your return if you wish to be refunded. If you have misplaced the instructions, just include a note stating whether you would like a refund or a YHBR credit. These are your reimbursement options

If we do not receive rentals within 10 business days after the due date, a refund for shipping may not be made.
Late returns
A 15% fee, of the rental cost, will be charged if books are not received within 10 days of the due date. This will extend the rental period for 15 days, giving you a bit more time to return them. If not received 25 days after original due date, you will be charged for the full current purchase price of the books.
You may keep the book(s) once you have been charged the buyout price. Please email us with any concerns or rental extension requests. We are happy to help when at all possible.
