If you are the parents of young children, you may think that they will never grow up.
I remember looking forward to the days when I wouldn't have to repeat myself over and over again, dress them, bathe them, carry them everywhere, go through the huge bedtime routine. I look back and see how much I missed by looking ahead to what I wished for rather than looking at the abundant blessings that God had given every moment of every day! Mamas, You Are Moving Mountains!

Today as I was planning for an upcoming trip to support and encourage one of our children, I had many thoughts going through my mind about the nature of motherhood, and this came to mind: Moms move mountains.
If our children are typical kids with all of the regular growing up needs, interests to be explored, talents to be developed, ups and downs of every age and stage--we're there making sure they get what they need.
If we have a sick child, we're right in there, comforting, caring, learning how to help, and figuring out how to take care of everybody and everything within the context of the new normal....continue reading
